Megan, Team Leader/Apprentice Trainer
with her Rotti/Mastiff cross "Diego"

My name is Megan,
I lived at home in Prince George with my family and dog's, Pomeranian/Shih tzu named Riley, and my German Shepherd/Lab named Buddy. They both are very well trained boys who are the best of friends. I unfortunately had to leave them when I moved to Surrey to live with my sister and her dog Emma, the maltipoo, to find my path in life.
I always thought personal training was my calling until I began working at Canine Harmony and found a new passion that I never dreamed of. I love meeting all the new dogs that come through here, they are always an experience to remember as they are adorable and have many different personalities. These dogs teach you a lot about your self and I love that about working here. I always had a passion for dogs but never did it cross my mind that this was one day going to be my career. While working here at Canine Harmony I know that dog training is what I want to do and I am so grateful that Chanone and Scott have provided me with the ability to find my way. So I am now enrolled in Animal Behavior College for Obedience Instructor Training, and can not wait to get my career started.

Zachary, Dog Care Specialist
with his dogs "Kylie" the Maltese and "Pippen" the Goldendoodle

Hi my name is Zachary,
I currently live in Surrey BC with my two dogs Pippin, a goldendoodle, and Kylie, a maltese cross. Pippin and Kylie are both wonderful friends that always know how to bring a smile to my face. I also shared my home until a year ago with Sam a cavalier cross who died due to complications with epilepsy. This gave me experience living with a dog with a chronic illness, and helping him through tough times.
I completed high school work experience with Chanone in December 2011; and was then hired on as part time staff. I have always enjoyed being with animals and working outdoors. Working at Canine Harmony has given me a great opportunity to do this. I am excited to continue working with new faces and more wagging tails.
Jenavieve, Dog Care Specialist
with her Cockapoos "Oscar" and "Kayla"

My name is Jenavieve,
I am an avid lover of animals, and always have been. Every chance I get to be around any variety of animals I jump on it, but dogs have always been my favorite! Their kind hearted nature, and eagerness for love and attention has always drawn them to me, therefore, when hearing of an opportunity to make my earnings while being in the constant company of dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities was something I couldn't pass up.
I have been employed at Canine Harmony since August 2011, and have found that no matter how difficult the job may be, it is always worth it when you're in the company of such wonderful animals. Although my family and myself have always tried our best to train our three dogs, and others in the past, it definitely has its challenges. Since my first day of employment, and every day since, I have learned so much about caring for animals in the proper way, and also learning more and more about how they themselves think and work. Ever since I began my first job 6 or 7 years ago, and continuing to explore other job opportunities for years after, I never experienced actually being excited to go to work, until I began at Canine Harmony. I am currently studying sciences at Kwantlen University, and I hope to carry on working for Chanone and Scott throughout my years of schooling!
Roo, Dog Care Specialist (In Training)
with her parent's dog (her brother) "Jasper" the golden retriever
and her dog "Atticus" a Dobie/Border Collie cross (we think!)

I'm Roo and I was born and raised on Vancouver Island where I grew up with a love of horses, cats, and of course dogs! When I adopted my dobbie border collie cross Atticus, I began working with Chanone Sanders as a trainer and using Canine Harmony's daycare and boarding services. I jumped at the opportunity to begin working for Canine Harmony. I loves spending my days helping take care of your best friend!
